00:00:00 - Chapter 4. A Royal Visit.
00:00:11 - Later than that evening, King Duncan and his two sons, Malcolm and Donald Bain arrived at Duncey named Castle with Banquo and a young nobleman called Macduff, Lady Macbeth
00:00:28 - Welcome them all at the door with a bow.
00:00:33 - My gracious king, welcome to our home, she said.
00:00:38 - Your honor, you honor us greatly by visiting our modest castle.
00:00:46 - King Duncan kissed her hand and smiled.
00:00:52 - Where's my lord of coder, the noble Macbeth?
00:00:57 - He asked, I'm sure he had right before us.
00:01:03 - Beautiful lady Macbeth, his love for you made him ride her quicker than us, say the king, with a playful smile.
00:01:12 - Your majesty is too kind.
00:01:14 - She replied looking down modestly.
00:01:18 - Please allow me to show you to your rooms and then to the great dining hall where we hold our banquet.
00:01:30 - While Lady Macbeth was entertaining the king,
00:01:32 - Macbeth sat alone in his room divided between excitement and shame.
00:01:41 - If I do this terrible act, he thought, I must do it quickly.
00:01:46 - There is no time to lose.
00:01:48 - He considered his positions.
00:01:50 - But how can I murder the king of Scotland?
00:01:54 - And in my own house, King Duncan is an honorable man.
00:02:01 - He trusts me.
00:02:02 - And if I suset, the angels will make sure I'm condemned to hell forever.
00:02:12 - Macbeth shook his head, trying to make his horrible thoughts fly away, fly away. I can't let my ambition rule me. No, I won't do this terrible thing.
00:02:30 - Just then, Macbeth heard his wife approaching and hurryed to tell her his decision.
00:02:36 - But instead of reliving, Macbeth saw only anger and consternation on her face.
00:02:44 - Is this what you want to live like a coward or your life?" asked Lady Macbeth in a hostile voice.
00:02:54 - She had no conscience.
00:02:57 - I act like a man and a soldier, replied Macbeth firmly.
00:03:03 - If I do this terrible thing, I can call myself either of those things.
00:03:09 - Why did you send me that letter then?
00:03:13 - She asked angrily, angry, where you drunk perhaps you're drunk now or perhaps you're just a coward, show me you are a real man and let me do this together.
00:03:33 - Macbeth struggled between his conscience and his love for his wife, but if we fail what
00:03:41 - But then he asked timidly, give your nerve a stick to the plant and we won't fail.
00:03:48 - Fail.
00:03:49 - She cried, when Duncan is asleep I will bring his guards so much wine to drink that they won't know night from day.
00:03:58 - Then you all go into the king's bedroom quietly and murder him with the dagger that the guards used to protect him.
00:04:10 - At best, I start at his wife's aim set, at her courage and determination.
00:04:18 - In spite of all his doubts, he admires her murderous ambition, and at that moment he makes his decision.
00:04:27 - His voice didn't tremble when he said, very well, I will do this terrible thing.
00:04:33 - Go now, compliment the king until he sleeps.
00:04:38 - Tomorrow belonged to us.
00:04:40 - After a magnificent dinner, King Duncan went to bed and two guards stood inside his doors.
00:04:48 - Lady Macbeth approached them after some time and offered them a lot of wine.
00:04:56 - Soon they were sleeping deeply against Duncan's door silently, the ambitious lady returned her room. Alone in his room, Macbeth suddenly became aware of a shadow on the wall shaped like a dagger. He jumped up in terror. What craziness is this? He whispered. Is this really a dagger? I see in front of me. His body trembled violently. No, no, he thought. The
00:05:31 - The dagger is in my imagination, a result of my conversation with my wife.
00:05:38 - He looked up and the dagger seemed to move towards the door.
00:05:41 - You're asking me to leave this room and follow my ambition?
00:05:45 - He whispered.
00:05:46 - Well, let's go dagger.
00:05:49 - As he spoke the clock struck ten and without a sound, Macbeth left the room and moved slowly towards the king's bedroom.
00:06:00 - In her bedroom, Lady Macbeth waited for her husband for what seemed an eternity.
00:06:08 - Finally, he entered the room.
00:06:11 - He was carrying the daggers and his hands were red with Duncan's blood.
00:06:17 - I am a murderer, he whispered.
00:06:19 - I murdered the king in his sleep.
00:06:22 - Look at your hands, she cried.
00:06:24 - Why didn't you leave the daggers with the words?
00:06:29 - Take them back and spray blood over the men so they look responsible for the crime.
00:06:36 - Then wash your hands.
00:06:37 - They are full of Duncan's blood.
00:06:41 - I can't whisper magme.
00:06:43 - I'm too afraid to think about what I've done.
00:06:47 - Oh, for heaven's sakes, give me the daggers, say Lady Magme, taking them from her husband's hands.
00:06:57 - I'll do it and wash my hands too. She moved towards the door and then turned it around to stare at her husband. A little water is all we need to wash away the crime. She said triumphantly she left the room with a decisive step with Macbeth starving at her infir.
